An unnecessary passive aggressiveness. Their lunch specials can’t be seen on their website, so I put a comment asking about it. Immediately I was called and at first I was told they didn’t have it then the girl said that yes they do and they can change it. I said great. She asked if I was okay with the price difference, and I said yes. We were both under different assumptions: I would get a refund, they assumed I was going to pay the initial price. I wasn’t rude at any point, I just explained I was under the assumption of a refund and the cashier says with an attitude, “I did ASK you if you were okay with the price.” I told her I was sorry, I didn’t ask the right questions. I also wasn’t properly warned. When I went to pick up the order and I received a cash refund and told “Not to do that again,” despite being apologetic on the phone. What I’m trying to say is no one was right but the last comment was unnecessary. As someone who’s worked in food service, I wouldn’t do this.
Edit: They’re to their.
I ordered the falafel burger and it came without the hummus, so I asked them to give me a small side of it. They said that they would have to charge me for it since it didn't come on the sandwich. I pointed out that their sign says it comes with it and they said that it didn't matter and that the falafel burger doesn't come with hummus. After arguing with me for a few minutes and refusing over and over to even acknowledge their mistake, one of the staff members begrudgingly gave me a small cup of hummus. I've attached a photo of the sign that is clearly posted right above the counter.
The food was great when I finally was able to get what I wanted, but the service left much to be desired every time I've been here.
I order pickup from here all the time.
The Greek fries are really good and highly recommend.
I get the chicken bowl and chicken kebab bowl. The chicken bowl is like shredded chicken that's marinated. It has a nice flavor. The chicken kebab is chicken that is skewered. The skewer ends were broken when I opened my food up hence 4 stars, otherwise I don't have anything to complain about.
Trying this place 1st time and quickly dissappointed by service. No customer service at all. Night shift cashier girl with attitude and don't listen customer. Order wrap and pide but no pide we came at 9.30pm meanwhile says closes at 10.00pm. Cooking place don't work for pide. Vending machine don't work we pay cash. Wrap was not bad but so little no meat at all I count 4 pieces) Hungry again order again spend again...Never come back here. Customers always right says.
We order from here a lot since its the closest Halal place from our house. Their whole chicken is a pretty amazing deal. It comes with 3 sides. Sometimes we get their bowls which are good too.
I recently tried their grape leaves and Kibbeh. Not a fan. Their falafel were raw in the center. So I wouldn’t be ordering anything other than the chicken from now on.
THE BEST AMERICAN HALAL MEDITERRANEAN FOOD IN NORTHWEST SUBURBS OF CHICAGO! Sweet, trendy, upbeat city towny type restaurant vibe, grab and go indoor lunch style dining, various cool and enticing drinks to add to your meal.check menu! They got everything. I came here for Ifthaar after not eating for 13 hours this place hit the spot! May Allah give the owner and the worker of this place a happy and beautiful life ! The food is high quality!!!! Prices and great! I love this place! Mashallah
Very disappointed in the staff here at this restaurant. Loved coming here, but because of the attitude of the staff we might not return. The website and signage on the door says they are open until 10pm tonight and when we arrived at 9:30 they tell us they are closed because they shut the grills down for the night. Why are you shutting down the grills before you close?? That’s crazy. What a loss of revenue. They also don’t take orders over the phone which makes it hard to place an order ahead of time to just grab and go. Very unfortunate experience.
Very inconsistent with the grilled eggplant. I have been debating on whether to write this review for about 8-9 months now because one time when I get them they taste wonderful and the next time they are raw and burnt at the same time without any seasoning whatsoever (see photo). I don’t know how much skill a chef needs in order to grill an eggplant but for some reason they just can’t be consistent with good quality food. I also get the greek fries and sometimes they are good and golden and crispy, other times just a soggy brown mess. Food is pretty inexpensive and the portions are big but beware of the lack of quality in preparing it

I am writing this 2 months after my first review and I am lowering my rating to one star. Would give zero if possible. I kept buying food from this place because when it’s good it is really good. But there are those times (more and more often) where food is served uncooked and unseasoned. Today I bought the grilled eggplant and they looked uncooked so I decided to poke one slice with my finger while I was still in the parking lot. Of course it was raw so I went back and asked them to cook them a bit more then came home. Stupid me, I should have tasted them. Even after the second session of grilling some slices are still uncooked. And the chef totally forgot to even add salt to them. Horrible. Shame on me for being a repeated customer after so much time and after so many failed meals. How hard is it to grill eggplants???
